1. Data Import from GEO5 Programs

It is now possible to import structural elements from GEO5 into the design programs of FIN EC.

Main Features:
- Import of piles (Pile), beams (FEM, Beam, Sheeting Design, Sheeting Check), and wall sections (Retaining Wall, Gravity Wall, MSE Wall, Abutment).
- Supported destination programs: Concrete, Concrete Beam, Concrete Fire, Steel, Steel Fire, Timber, Timber Fire.
- Transfer of geometry, cross-section, material properties, and internal forces.
- Easy modification of the structural material by importing elements into different FIN EC programs.
Benefit: Fast and reliable data exchange between GEO5 and FIN EC – saving time and eliminating errors when transitioning between geotechnical and structural programs. Allows detailed review and verification of structural analysis results beyond the capabilities available directly in GEO5.

2. New 3D Environment in FIN 3D

The FIN 3D program now uses a new 3D visualization core already proven in other Fine Software applications. The new engine fully utilizes the performance of modern hardware and graphics technologies, ensuring smoother interaction with 3D structural models and offering new visualization and manipulation options.

Benefit: Enhanced user experience, smoother 3D interaction, and full compatibility with modern technologies.

New Licensing System

FIN EC 2025 uses the Fine Cloud License system, which allows the management of purchased licenses according to the needs of each customer.
- The licenses are stored in the cloud, and the program accesses them at startup, requiring an internet connection.
- Licenses can be permanently or temporarily transferred to a PC or hardware key, enabling offline use.
- Cloud license management options vary depending on the customer type.
