Supports
This section allows you to specify what type of supports the program will automatically assign to newly created trusses. The range of support properties corresponds to the options of the "Wall plate" tab in the "Joint properties". window. Joints with supports are divided into three groups:
- Supports on bottom chords and collars - this setting is used by "Truss 2D" program when a new support is inserted on a member recognized as a bottom chord or collar beam.
- Supports on top chords - this setting is used by "Truss 2D" program when a new support is inserted on a member recognized as a top chord.
- Supports in truss to truss connections - This section is for the "Truss 3D" program. The program will use these values when creating supports at the point of load transfer from one truss to another.
